If we ever need a realtor again (which likely we won't, because he helped us get into our dream home) we would not hesitate one bit to pick up the phone and call Ben. Not only is his knowledge of the market in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont outstanding, he does everything you hope a realtor will do for you and then some. He is uber responsive, knows many of the other area agents personally which makes setting up times for showings a breeze, and the most important part to us was that it was clear that he had OUR best interest in mind with every piece of advice or decision made. He was always upfront and transparent and we never felt like we were being taken for a ride so that he could get his (incredibly well-deserved) commission, which we've had happen with other realtors in the past. Ben is a huge contributing factor to why Tim Scott Real Estate has the polished reputation it does in our area. I could not recommend Ben and the Tim Scott team enough.

Our home buying journey with Ben was nothing short of exceptional. From the very start, Ben's friendly demeanor, knowledge, and genuine approach made us feel completely at ease as we ventured into first time homebuyers. From our initial conversation we instantly knew we were in great hands with Ben. He was incredibly thorough in addressing all our questions, offering sound advice, and guiding us to ensure we made the best decisions based on what we were looking for. Ben consistently presented all possible scenarios and backed them with his expert recommendations, which ultimately led us to find the perfect home. His communication was top-notch; we never felt left in the dark or uncertain about what was happening. When our closing date was delayed due to recent flooding in Vermont, Ben went above and beyond to coordinate safe routes and help us navigate the many moving parts. He answered any questions I had (and there were a lot) and responded quickly to every request. I had accepted an out-of-state position just after meeting Ben and had to move on short notice. In my absence, Ben went above and beyond by checking on my home, adjusting heating, keeping an eye on my propane levels, and even putting me in touch with local plowing service! He will take the time to figure out what is important to YOU when looking at properties and help you determine if a given property meets those expectations. He is observant during walk-throughs and points out concerns in a way that is not overly negative. I valued his opinion very highly during my home search, though he never tried to force it on me.
